front master cylinder question

a front master cylinder on my 78gs750ec, is the 1980 gs750 front mastercylinder the same size? denniskrk doesnt list for a 78 just a 80 model.

No it will not fit .....Your master cylinder Resevoir is a Round one where as a 1980 went to a rectangular resevoir they are different.....However you may find on on e-bay or the parts section here that is where I found mine

The '81 GS750"L" models used the MC with the round reservoir which is probably the same as yours. Check out the following link. Unless your reservoir is cracked, you may only need the large "o-ring" in the schematic.
