    carbs:1, screw extractor:0

Damn thing broke right off in the air mix screw, turning by hand.
Time to put Dremel into the ring?

You might want to try a left hand twist drill bit. I've never had any luck with screw extractors.

better try a right handed bit first to screw out the extractor. then the left handed one.

go at it by what ever means possable, as it currently is the carb is junk and you will need to replace it so your not making it any worse.

Can we get the ADMIN to do a sticky saying stay away from ez outs and the like. They never work.

I needed to do a lot of that not ot long ago with my 550 I found it really helpful to use lots of pb blaster on the bit and on hte screw or what have you.

Dremmel a notch into the top of the screw with the broken NEVER out broken off in it. I cut the tunnel off leading to the screw before the threads start.

Try looking into the Grabits. Theyve worked great for me in the past.

If you try to drill the broken easy out you will DESTROY every drill bit that touches it! Ray.

Sounds like a fair offer, to me, after trying to find a second hand set of carbs for a GS1000.
