    Question on parts

I have a 78 GS750 and need a petcock (gas in the oil). I'm fine with buying an oem (after reading some stuff) but I don't want to get raped on the price. I'm willing to spend whatever it cost, but it seems like whenever I buy something somebody eles always says "you should have went here/there it would have been cheeper". I just want to get the right part bolt it on and have it work. Does anyone have a good experence in reguards to price and service on ordering an oem petcock.

Try these gyuy. They have very good service. May not be the "cheapest" part but then again...not the most expensive.

Thanks alot...$65 is a price I can live with to never have to deal with this again, considering I have to throw away a new oil change worth of full synthitic oil. Now if I can figure out what kind of chain I need (oring, Xlink, Master link, 10speed, chainsaw....) I will be set.

Call Jeff at Z1Enterprises, he's a member here and very knowledgable. He helped me get the right chain/sprocket setup on my bike. I'd avoid the chainsaw chain though.........

Whatsa matter, you don't think that would help him cut through traffic on his commute or carve some corners on the weekends?

I recently bought a KMC 530 O-ring chain for my 1000S. Specs are excellent and $62 shipped is hard to beat (comes with a master link too). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KMC-5...Q5fAccessories

I'm thinking about doing the 530 conversion. I would assume I have the 630 (I will count the teeth and post a pic make sure). How hard will this be (the conversion not the pic)? Is it pretty sraight forward? I just figured out how to adjust my chain and noticed a tight spot in it.
