83 gs1100 fork caps?
i just got some 83 1100e forks for my 81. they did not have the fork caps(axle holders) with it. does anyone know if the g model caps will work or for that fact is any other suzuki for caps will work on these forks?

I am not which ones would work but it looks like OEM replacements are around $30. That does not sound like too bad a price when you figure the importance of this particular part. I am not sure I would trust a used part for a critical area like the axle cap but that is just me. Try the Babbits site to cross reference the part numbers for other bikes, a lot of the Suzuki forks are the same even for different models & sizes.
