Breather Cover Torque

Good day all,

It's that time again in Northeast Ohio to put the finishing touches on my bike so I can start riding (as long as the snow stays away).

I'm replacing my cylinder head and breather cover gaskets and I have the torque settings for the cylinder head cover (15 in lbs) but I don't know the torque for the breather cover. I am using Real Gasket (silicone) gaskets. I've looked through my manual and either it isn't there or I'm blind and I've looked past it.

My bike? 1981 GS850G!

Nothing special there. You have a Real Gasket for that one, too, or is it the stock paper gasket?
In general, fasteners of that size in aluminum threads get torqued to about 6 lb/ft. If you have a Real Gasket, use the same 15 in/lb that you use on the valve cover.
