Steering Stem Bearing Install

I have also just done my steering head bearings. But in my case I was converting from individual ball bearings to the tapered roller one piece bearing. I just placed the bearing on the slightly opened vice jaws and tapped the steering stem through it. I used an ALLBALLS bearing for this conversion.

Yeah, mine are the All Balls, had to get a second lower after trashing the first, but they have great service, ordered like 9:00 at night and it was shipped by lunch the next day.
