Ok I have built some exhaust prior to talking to everyone. Well it was 2 " od tube. What size should I use for exhaust pipe, down tubes. I was watching the 78 750 bobber build. I seen his exhaust and how it was done the 2 into 1 I like that. Now I have a 750 with 850 top end and havent decided which cams to use yet the 750 or 850. I have heard both sides of the swap already. Can anybody help?

steve you must remember me? what is the stock size for the exhaust. I dont have anything here to compare it to. Or maybe like say a vance and hines exhaust? I just need something to go on instead just screwing up from the begining. LOL ya know?Comment

No, I'm afraid not. 
But don't take it personally.
I have a stock system off an '81 850 that is off the bike and a 4-into-1 system that is on my son's bike (another '81 850)
and will get some measurements in the morning. It's cold and wet out there right now.
