    Coil mod

    A while back I seen good diagram of coil mod thread. I cant find it now thought I saved it Any clue.It was simple and detailed every step and wire thank you??

      Two thumbs up on this mod. My bike starts much easier and it does seem more powerful ( maybe just wishful thinking).

      A couple of suggestions. 1) fit the relay under the seat or side panel so you can get to it without pulling the tank 2) buy a couple of relays so you can carry one as a spare. 3)make a jumper lead so you can jump the relay(s) if they ever fail......just to get you home. Sorry that was one more than I promised

      Really a good mod.

        It made a world of difference in mine. Fires up immediately and no sooty plugs at low speed and idle. I was only getting 10 volts to the coils before the mod.
