I want to improve the mileage, get rid of the slight stumble when rolling on the throttle out of a corner and ensure I'm not going to burn up the valves. I've seen pictures of burnt up valves here and I don't want that to happen.

By the way....what does YMMV mean ??

Could be something as simple as float height.

Are you thinking the float level is too high or too low?

If he wants to lean it out then too high. Generally fuel related problems in lower rpm is too lean and in upper rpm too rich.

Exactly my issue as well. I know my Main and Needles are a tad rich but my low RPM seem to be too lean...thus slight sputter in and lag in the 2.5/3k range. Float height or mixture screw?

I'd try adjusting the screws first for highest idle before I did anything else.

I posted that the slight stumble was rolling on the throttle out of a corner.......however, it does the same when accelerating in a straight line without the bike leaned over. Never noticed a difference between the two.....

I would think that the float height would cause this type of effect. Have you ever tried measuring the fuel level in the bowls by attaching a tube to the drain plugs?
