Needle valve seat mesh cap removal

I'm cleaning my carbs the way I should have done the first time. I'm using the guide available on this forum. When I remove the needle valve seat I notice that there is a wire mesh cap on it. (As demonstrated on page 5 picture 53 on the guide.) How do you remove the mesh cap on top of the needle valve seat? I need to take it off to dip the parts. By the way, Basscliff's website is full of so much great info! I followed the Mr.robertbarr's carb O-ring link and purchased a whole set of o-rings at the best price I have EVER seen! Thank you!

Thank you, The only reason I ask Is because the last time I cleaned carbs that mesh cover was extremely hard to remove. I actually ended up braking one of them.

Be careful. They will fly away!
I use a small flat head against something solid.

Just popped them off. Now, on to the cleaning! Thanks everyone. I know it was an extremely simple question. It's those simple questions that solve the biggest problems.
