brembo fronts

I did a search but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for, so any help would be great.

I have a set of these calipers

But i do not have the brackets or the spacers, my bike is a 80/81 gs1000g.
I know other people on the board have done similar mods, so any advice and also if someone could tell where to get the brackets would be great.

ARe those opposed piston calipers? If so, they're not going to fit tween the wheel and fork that Ive seen..

They look like 4 piston opposed type calipers. As Josh said, they won't fit using the stock wheel and discs. Discs with more offset and some custom brackets may get the job done but the devils in the details

In that picture you can see the massive offset in the brackets plus it appears there are some hub spacers to push the rotor away from the hub lined up behind them....
If you have all that kit to go with the calipers then you should be able to make them fit but I doubt with the stock rotors - you'll probably have to use a larger one.

The bike the brakes i have "access" too came from is going to get billet brakes in the future, not brembos tho i think.
Not my bike by the way, but my mate who is helping(showing)me with what we are doing.

If you dont have the calipers yet, then why dont you go with the CBR rotors and kawasaki twinpot calipers setup that Salty Monk has worked out.
I really doubt you will find brackets made to adapt those to your bike, you will have to fabricate something.

I do have the calipers and a radial master cylinder, just no spacers or brackets.
I have seen those brakes on a cooly replica, it did have a different front wheel though.

As stated already, the calipers will not fit on the stock GS wheel/rotors; the caliper will hit on the wheel on the inside because those calipers are much deeper than the stock calipers. If you get some different rotors with more offset to move them outboard, it may be possible to get the calipers to fit then. Of course you will need new caliper brackets and it's almost certain that you will have to custom make them.

That's why it works on that bike and won't work on yours without fabbing something up.

I have no drama if i have to fab something up, i just started the thread to see if there was something available.
I see no reason why it wont work with the standard wheel and some brackets and spacers.
If i try it and fail then i will certainly post an apology to everyone who has tried to help.
For now i will let this thread die and investigate for myself.
