engine changes GS1100/1150 80-85

Is there a site or any place that details the engine changes thru the years ? Ive searched but cant find anything

Sorry, I don't know of such a site, but there were few & suttle changes from "80" thru "86. Cams changed, angle on valve seats changed, left end of crank & rotor changed, cranks were welded after mid "82", valve cover changed 2 times, carbs went from 34's to 36's, clutch plates changed, tach changed from cable to elect., pistons & wrist pins grew, HP went up a little.

Of course the black ones are faster .. happend in 1983

Never saw a black one, "83" they were fire eng. red or navy blue.
