1). You purchased a YOUSA battery.

Just kidding. After reading that I can see why my batterys don't make it. I don't think I have done my die hard in though. I think it is charging system.

Good info! When I started working at a service station as a teenager, I was told never to sit a battery on the concrete to charge it. Never knew why, though. Thought it might just be an 'old mechanic's tale.' Now I finally learn why, and that I don't have to worry about it any more!

Old habits die hard...I still can't set a battery directly on concrete :?

It really is true myth.
battery on concrete or any other conductive surface or grounded surface will trickle dis-charge the battery. As I know and have been told for 40+years.
I rarely recovered a battery stored that way.
SO it SEEMS to be true unless the newer polymers of the battery cases today wont (leak)..
My story, I'm sticking with it.
