ON rebuilding my 79 GS850 VM carbs with the exact tees as yours have I solved the problem with a tube of gasket/sealant that is rated for fuel and temp. Sealed it perfectly, not a drip for the few months I had it on before a tear apart again. I was worried I would destroy it trying to get it apart but it came apart with little effort and I resealed again without any leaks. If I can find the tube and post the name I will. -

I have used the rubberized dip before, works fine. That's whats on Bad Juju Josh. Just brush it on don't dip it. Thin coat is all that is needed, you need it to be a snug fit.Comment

A good neighbour with a lathe made a Tee and a straight connection for me
