    Brake line length

I've searched but haven't found the info I need. What is the proper front brake line length on an '82 gs650L. I changed the handle bars to a drag bar but before I changed it, there was a loop in the front brake line. I was just wondering if anyone has the length specs. for it.

    Thanks!

Why not measure? A piece of stiff wire works well to similate the length.

    To measure is to know.

This would work. Just make sure that the brake lines are long enough with the forks fully extended. That's all you really need.

        Measure

Ditto...and have your Sweetie measure it after you do and compare notes. If they're not in agreement, do it again! (It makes perfect sense and makes for a fun-filled, worthwhile, wholesome activity!)
