Is it common for big displacement air-cooled bikes ?

i think it was just a suzuki thing..suzuki 1150 thing.
i havent ran arcoss any others that did the same thing.
maybe someone else has????

My 1150 used to vibrate until I bought a Carbtune and synched at 4000 rpm. Now she is nice and smooth.

Good then, I'll do the same. Although some folks on oldskoolsuzuki forum said that the vibes are caused by the "uneven" camshaft.. present in some models.. hope I got the name/part right.
Have all of you escaping the vibes adjusted the carb balance with the inner carbs at lower pressures.. or you did you equalized them? This would be good to know.
Also.. what is the minimum fuel consumption you have experienced with the bike (in liters/100 kms if possible)?

They were still close, but not perfect.
