About pilot jets (Holes)
In my carbs BS32ss,My pilot jets have not any tiny sideholes, but some others carbs have it. What does that means?Tags: None -

it's been asked before but the only conclusion was that it doesn't really matter. perhaps the holes on the side disipate the gas more easily?

I have also heard that if your carb came with jets that had holes in the sides, you can not use jets without holes, and vice versa.
Again, not sure why.

i am not sure why, or why not.
i am for sure that it DOES make a differance.
a person needs to use what style of jet that came in the carbs as per OEM.Comment

My carbs came non-holed pilot jets. I run with some with holes. I do believe it mixes more air into the mixture pilot circuit. I'd say use all holes or all non-holes. The amount of metered fuel will be the same out of the bottom of the jet.Comment
