180-200 should be good. i'm not sure what the exact stock psi is but that's good compression. doesn't sound like you need new rings. might be bottom end... might be that it just doesn't like you any more and refuses to run for you out of fear of you running it totally dry! hehe, couldn't resist -

i think its rings
well after all night of sitting it blew a wopping 90 -100 psi bone
after a long push start it get right back to 180 ish area till it cools so im thinking rings as when i put a few drops of oil in the cylinders it gain about 25 psi wet
anyone know a good cheap place to hone and bore me out .30 over and then im going to go from the 12-1 compression to 8-1 and i just got a 83 gpz turbo digital fuel injection system so i have a project ahead. does anyone think a 14b stock dsm eclipse turbo is too much, i have one off my car that needs rebuilt so itll save me 300$? im thinking ill be trying it at 5 psi till i get used to it. if there are no objections i would like to put it in the projects forum? i think its going to be a marvel of work and i know i will have a abundance of questions.
thanks all for your help thus far, JesseComment

Well, that sounds like a fun project, but that turbo will only work on the bike if the car's engine was about 750-850cc.
It is VERY critical to match the size of the turbo to the size of the engine. The bike's 750cc (or whatever it ends up being with the overbore) is simply not enough to drive a turbo that is meant for a ... what? ... 3000cc engine?
Other than that, it sounds good.

Read "Maximum Boost", by Corky Bell.
He advises keeping oil in the engine.Comment
