    85mph speedo guys...how fast am I going??

Top gear, 8K on the tach....15/43 sprockets, with a 530 chain...

Any online calculators to figure that out....all I know is it was over 85mph...

(Note....Professional rider on a closed course, of course... )

    Just curious....

Do it again, but at 4K on the tach.

    Double that speed.

      There are only three choices:

      A) Too fast
      2) Not fast Enough
      Or) Just Right

Most likely A) but that's just me.

But the correct answer in a court of law would of course be "85 mph Your Honor, that's all she can do."
Once again, your government's thoughtful regulations have saved you.

And yes, if you want accuracy, do what Steve suggests. He's no fun.

One of my next work assignments was supposed to be in California, but I think that one has been put on hold.

Yes, I would ride out, instead of flying and renting a car while there.

I have to maintain my yearly mileage average somehow. In the past 12 months, I have ridden my Wing over 20,000 miles.
13,000 of those have been since Memorial Day.

speed is gettin gto be my friend

I sort of like it when the speedo, the tach and the front tire are all sort of pointing the same direction. The other night a member of the state's finest told me those three indicators added up to 61 mph in a 40 zone. I was very fortunate to be warned of my indiscretion.

You guys always get off, don't try to fool us.
If the rest of us did that, we'd be in the slammer.

So just ride out and back on a weekend. It's a wing, right?
3,000 mile weekends are a snap?
See you Saturday night, the fridge is well stocked.

Try using a Gps to see your speed.

I dont think the HP curve is linear enough for that to work.

Bob, do you get any speed wobbles at triple digits ? I guess youve gotten over that welded frame.
