Gs1000s valves

I got a set of Vesra valves for me old Gs1000s , I was told they were exactly the same as stock Wrong!,is it true stock ones are stainless and not magnetic.
the vesra ones stick solid to a magnet

Mine were steel not SS.

Yep - standard valves aren't stainless.
