    Removing push-pull throttle cable

    Doh!

OK, here is another dumb question:

How do I remove this push-pull cable so I can remove my carbs? It's a little hard to work on the carbs with them still attached to the bike!

    Many thanks (again)

crack off the bottom nuts and unscrew fully. then lift the cables out and unhook the cable nipples

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

Do the front one first as he says. Loosen the nuts on the second cable. Then open the throttle with the twistgrip, block the throttle mechanism open between the carbs with one hand or perhaps a block of wood and release the grip. You can get the second cable adjuster out of it's slot, and then the end of the cable out of the little throttle wheel easily now.

Also you may find it easier to remove the cables when the carb rack is already partway off the engine, off to the side where you can reach the cable ends better.

Hi, which one is the "front"? Is in the cable on the left in my photo?

        Thanks,

I said it wrong, do the rear one first. Do the one that pulls the throttle open last.

If i remember right the one of the left opens the throttle (pulls?) and the other one closes it (pushes). Sorry to be so clueless but which should I remove first?

              The easiest one.
