850 to 750 Carbs??

Hi, any body know if 850 carbs will fit on 750. Spacing and mounting plate. 80 850 to 79 GS750L

750 and 850 are the same, but 1979 to 1980 are not, one has VM, the other has CV.

It can be done but it takes some effort.
