Stuck Carb Drain Screw
Okay... so my drain screw to drain the bowl just keeps turning around and around when I try to loosen it, without coming out.... what am I doing wrong? Or are the threads messed up?Tags: None -

First of all,
If your drain plug keeps turning, it's likely stripped. If it's stripped, you will need a new float bowl and drain plug.
What bike do you have? I have some carb parts, just not a wide variety.

You could try putting a thin screwdriver blade underneath the head of the screw while you try to remove it. If you can get it out, you could probably retap the threads. Getting another bowl is also an option.Comment
