What are my options? I wouldn't mind going to a 850 conversion. If I buy the 1978-1979 850 block and heads, then I would have to go bigger carbs, the 850 cams and everything else. If I go that route, might as well go 1100 for the price.
I would love to fix it (or have it fiked if it isn't crazy expensive, read: over $150) or find a clean 2 valve 750 block. It seem rare to find them though. As soon as I see one, it's sold.
Anyone ever fix their fins and have it work (or not have it work-aside from the JB weld repair). I don't want to take any shortcuts, and will be restoring everything on the bike. If you have a 2-valve block you'd part with (and the fins are all there and intact) please let me know. Thank you all so much for your support!
