gs 850 Airbox

OK, what year airbox?

As long as the years are similar, the airbox will probably fit. Many of them are stamped with several models.

I thought the chain drive air boxes were different than the shaft drive air boxes.

Doesn't the 850 use a long filter that is integral to the airbox and the 750/1100 has the air filter attached to the rear of the airbox?

The '79 750/850 share an airbox but for 1980 that changed. The 1980 850 airbox itself might be the same as a 1000G airbox, but the carbs are a different so the airbox boots most likely would have to change.
