valve stem seals - where to get them?

Where do you guys buy replacement valve stem seals? I don't see them on the OEM parts fische.

There's an e-bay seller that offers them for about $45, is there any other places?

Looking for seals for my 1100EX.

For a 16 valve, any of the performance parts sellers will have them. I use APE or MTC for consumable parts like valve seals.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm hoping to get to this during the Winter, but it will most likey wait til Spring (no heat in the ol' shed).

I've already aquired all the gaskets, o-rings, hone & rings; just need the seals to complete the parts list. The issue is a leaking head gasket, so I'm replacing that & the base gasket as well...

Ran out of time to get all this done before the cold weather came, now I'm in VT until Jan.

So far I've managed to clean/rebuild the carbs, added pods & a stage 3 jet kit, paint the wheels & get new tires mounted (Shinko Tour Masters), rebuilt the front fork dampeners & new fork seals, replaced the steering stem bearings & races, replaced the beat-up "round" headlight with the correct square headlight assy, and cleaned up the rusted 4-1 header.







Now Big Red will sleep peacefully until March or so, unless I get motivated to pull the head during a warm spell this Winter.

Big Red might appreciate some NON RUSTY valve cover bolts. Stainless steel cap bolts would look nice.

LOL, yes I agree! I have a complete set of SS allen heads for the engine that I haven't installed yet...

Actually, when I removed the valve cover to do a valve adjustment I cleaned up the old cover bolts. I let them soak in some Evap-O-Rust solution I got at HF. I've used this stuff before and it seems that initially the metal looks great coming out, but then rusts up much quicker than if not cleaned at all.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was going to notice those ugly looking cover bolts - you win !
