the fibers become hard and charred and sometimes even HD springs won't fix the slipping 100%.
even if they measure "within spec" that still doesn't mean the fibers are usable.
i wouldn't waste my time with OEM springs.
purchase a set of HD springs and install half a set.
    i like the gold barnett's.
the red coated HD springs are monsters and maybe not for the limp wristed on this board.

The oil isn't the problem. The were slipping before I changed the oil. It's just standard 15w-40w oil.

So now I have mixxed veiws on the HD springs. Why would they be any better?

The HD springs grip the clutch plates with more force. Just use three of them with three of the stockers. Otherwise clutch pull gets to be excessive
