    My introduction to forum

Hello to all fine folks on this site!
I am sooooo glad I find this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to bikes again....after nearly 42 years. My ride back then was Puch 250 GS, and also
Puch 175Roller (scooter) and a little
Lohner Sissy made by Sachs, a interesting little racer when head shaved and ether fueled, talking 1960's......
then came this long pause, got married and all that.
Fast forward to now where I aquired 1968 Honda Dream 305,
1974 Kawasaki GT3R which I managed to save from slow decay in local orchard and it now runs like scolded cat....

Kawasaki F7 that still needs a piston and rings along with rotary valve and then its back on the rubber and finaly

1978 Suzuki 750GS, now this one is a project if you have ever seen one. I will post pictures as soon as I figure it out how.. on side note: I like this one the most
this is one heavy bike for old foggy like me jezzzzzzzz! Will need a lot of advice from knowledgeable members (no not lifting it)

            No, it would be "pooked"

And, Suzie'sfriend, don't worry about all this silliness. Many members here appear to lurk over their keyboards, waiting to foist their weird sense of humor on the unsuspecting.

Those members are more fun in person, especially with a beer in hand

Howzabout posting up some Puch pics?

The Puch 250GS must be a pretty rare bike by now I would have thought. A real oddity when it came out if I remember correctly, 'cos of its radical twin piston / single cylinder set up. My dad's mate has an old (1920s)Trojan car which has a similar design engine.

Found a diagram of a split single for those who haven't come across them before:

                Welcome to the GSR.

Yes, you found a good place. Post any mechanical or elctrical question about the GS750 here in the tech section. Maybe also introduce yourself in the Owners section.

Here is a link to some info on posting photos.
The first thing you need to know is that have to have the photos on some other website such as PhotBucket or Flicker or something. This BikeCliff tutorial specifically uses PhotoBucket in its examples.

(lots of other GS related good stuff on his web site also)

Welcome back to bikes. After 42 years you say, wow.

                .
