    82 GS1100GZ Exhaust

I want to replace my old OEM exhaust with a better condition or new OEM. I have found a used one that came off a 82 GS1100GK. Is there any difference in the exhaust on these 82 models. Would the upsweep on the mufflers be different due to the luggage on the GK.

My understanding is that the GK mufflers hang a little lower to allow for saddle bag clearance. Should work but I've never tried so not positive. This discussion has come up before so you might want to dig around in the archives for more information from people that have first hand knowledge.

I have a set of 82 GS1100G exhaust that are in pretty good condtion. There is a scrape on the very back end of the right side (clutch side) muffler. All chrome is good and I don't believe there are any dings. If you are interested I will take pics. let me know. I would make you a good deal as they are taking up space now.
