My '83 GS850 needs new tires. I've got Dunlop 491s on it, but have been told they're and older design and newer tires are better. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better tire?

I have those tires on my 1100G, Thet are an excellent tire I think.

I just put a set of pirelli sport demons on the 850. They have a radial look with good ol' bias ply technology. They seem pretty sticky and they ride very well. They go for about 110 for the rear and 90 for the front. I dont know how long they are gonna last. Probably less then 5000 miles on my last IRC durotour.Comment
