This would be my suggestion as I do it to all the toys, depending on the time of year/use. I kill em with the fog and then pull the plugs and drop in about 1 ounce of 5W-20 on top of the piston. Never a stuck ring ect.

On the engines that are sitting, waiting for a project, I pull the plugs and fog the cr@p out of them.

You can find fogging oil in the boating section of many fine retailers. Walmart has it, too.

I've stored an empty tank with a heavy coat of fogging oil inside and no gas cap for several months with no problems.

From what I've heard, the speed that Chef goes on his hot rod bike, everything is seen in a flash

    Fogging?

'82 GS850G that is going to sit for a while while thing are repaired/rebuilt.
Gas tank is empty and off bike. Is there a proper way of oiling the inside of tank and pistons to keep corrosion away. Can I use Remoil? (Gun lube)
    What should I use?
    Thanks
