carb spacing - will it work?

Will a set of carbs from a 16 valve gs1100 fit an 8 valve gs1000 ? Also, do the 1100G /gk heads have the same as well?? Thanks ...Will

Yes, as long as you have the correct size manifolds from a CV carbed head. If your head is PRE-CV, you can use the KZ manifolds available from Pingel or APE. Ray.

The carbs from my 850g wouldnt fit my 750e. Both were cv carbs. The spacing was different

I can confirm for sure that 1100G and 1000G spacing are the same. I'm 99% sure the 16V 1100 is the same. I actually have a set of 16V 1100 carbs. I can check, and they are for sale.

The 34mm carbs for the shaft and chain models have the same spacing.
Different main air jet though.
