    No Master link in chain?!?!?!?

    Hey,

so this is the first time i have taken the rear wheel off, to clean stuff, and i wanted to clean the chain, but im almost 100% sure there is no master link! i've looked through it a couple times. whats going on here? Are there chains that have no master link, if so, how do i remove it?!?!?!?

    Thanks for you help!

Endless chains are standard fair on millions of bikes. To remove it you need a chain pin tool or you need to remove the swingarm.

I cut mine off with a dremmel if I'm changing the chain.

gotta love endless chains. when installing one you need to remove the swingarm to get it in there.

the kz cop bikes I worked on for years require them every 10K miles. doing a chain and sprockets was a real job!

the price on a O ring endless thru kawasaki dealer cost is over $300. steel sprockets make the price higher.

but it is the best chain available because improper master link installation is where the chain heat and wear begins.
