    Brake Line Question

I am going to be ordering new stainless line, and I was just wondering how you guys figured out your lengths?

    Measuring tape

Actually the easiest method is to pull off the old ones and measure them. Give them the measurements to the ferrule i.e. the nut connecting to the fitting and overall length. maybe add and inch or two just to be sure.

As they say in all measuring situations, do it at least twice and for good measure have someone check.

You're going to love those puppies

    Cheers,
    Spyug

If you are buying the goodridge brand that Z1 sells, measure the overall length of the line with the fittings and subtract 3", that is the length line you need to order. The swivel fittings that they sell make it really easy to install the lines and you can adjust the angle of the fitting so the lines don't twist.
