The bearings have an oil jet that injects oil right into the bearing. Oil leaking out of this does not indicate a bad bearing just the fact you have oil pressure.
Replace the cap. Smear silicone around the edges and get it in before it dries. It will act as a lube and sealer.
Check and make sure your case bolts are tight. Do this after putting in the cap.

That's pretty much what I planned on doing if the dealer has the part and I do not see any damage to the case.
      Thanks!
BTW, how is your missile running?

Just got the Wiseco 1230 pistons to the machine shop with the cylinder and the head is getting worked so maybe a couple of weeks out on assembly.
Then on to a race motor.
I have a couple of those plugs but they are off an 1100. They are also in Tehachapi which is not hard to get to.

Chef, I still have a new set of .424/.424 cams, if you really want to make it crazy!
Still not sure if I will use them on the next build or put them in this engine.

                Update:

Got the seal today. ($6.35 at the Suzie dealer)
Coated the outside edge with Ultra Black and installed with a 36 mm socket.

                No more leaky.

                I get to ride tomorrow!!!
