81 550 L & T frames the same

I have a 81 gs550t with no title. a guy in my area is selling a 81 gs 550L forks and frame. the frames have different part #s so i am not sure if everything will switch over.

most of the time they wont change frames for the same year and same drivetrain for small details like the seat, maybe a tab or three might be off or a tank mount. It will still be pretty cheap to swap all the stuff

The L model bikes all take a different frame from the other GS's. Guess that doesn't matter though for those that take a sawsall to the frame.
