Why not find out which it is?

Posting a few pictures would be a good place to start.
The 1100G I gave my brother has the same issue. I could find nothing wrong. I did replace the bolt and inspected the components. There is no play in the pivot.

      It doesn't hurt anything.

Hey Steve, right now my bike is on 2 center stands. One on each end of the frame to get the wheels off the ground for the winter because I do not have a center stand. Last year I did put on new MDI shocks that just replaced my old ones. They are just a replacement and not adding any height to which I can remember or tell. I'll have to take updated pics as my sig pic was before all the work I did to my bike in the past couple of years.
