gs1100 motor in gs1000 frame

Another newbie question. Will a 16valve GS1100 motor bolt into a 79 GS1000 frame?

A buddy of mine has one he built 25 years back. Its a 1327 now but still flying. Dont recall if its a boltin or not but cant be too hard.

Yes, just the two frame mounts under the ignition and alt cover dont line up but you can make brackets to fit
