    Vance & Hines Exhaust '79 GS1000

My new V&H 4 into 1 megaphone, not pro pipe, arrived today from Bike Bandit. But the label is upside down, and the bracket is below the muffler. I have not tried to put it on.

    This smells funny to me.

    Thoughts?

Mystery to me as the Pro pipe mount tab is on the top as well.
I would contact V&H for clarification before going back on BB.

The megaphone slips onto the header, twist it around the right way so mister V&H is right side up with the bracket on top a little left of center.

Thanks, but that will put the label facing the rim. I'll just have it upside down.

Sounds like you were sent the wrong pipe. I have one on mine, It looks just like this: http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/det...duct_id=v12005

i have both V&H pipe for a GS1000, propipe and megaphone.
On the propipe the mount tab is up and on the megaphone tab is on bottom.
