Bike ran fine all the way home, cosmetic damage to left side engine case, tank covered in gas stains. But the front end seemed a little off plumb.... Left hand was farther forward than the right hand on the ride home. No rubbing, no binding of brakes, no flopping of bent tires or rims. No visual damage other than a big scuff mark on the paint on my right front fork tube. (bottom half.)
I need to inspect my front end, specifically the forks, but I'm at a bit of a loss... Where should I start? I was thinking after I get my stand welded tomorrow, that I should support the bike, get the front end loosened up and make sure I get get it back square again. If this was a BMX bike, I'd be all set. Grab the front tire with your Knees and twist the bars!
Learned panel, what things should I inspect and look for? The tubes didn't appear to be bent, but that was very early this morning before I went to work. Any input is welcome.
Thanks,
