Shim Diameter 78 GS750

Hey Guys,

can anyone tell me the diameter of the shims for a 78GS750. I want to go order them today when Im on lunch from work. My bike is at a buddys house and I cant get in until tonight. I think that they are 29.5mm. Can someone confirm that number for me.

Thanks for confirming that for me. You saved me a day lol. The local Dealer has them for $5.00 ea, not sure if they are Z1. Is there a difference in quality?

I don't think quality is an issue, but make sure you verify the actual thickness of the shims with a micometer or vernier calipers... somethimes the dimension marked on them is incorrect.

will do, I happen to have a digital vernier caliper. I knew it would come in handy for more than just float bowl height settings lol.
