Since I have my engine out of the frame I will be doing some serious cleaning. Plugging the intake ports was easy enough, just clamp bags over the carb manifolds but I can't find anything laying around my garage to plug the exhaust ports with. Wish I had some of those thin plastic plugs but I'm not even sure where to get any. What have others used to plug up their exhaust ports?

Don't know if they will fit your ports, but I used some Nerf Balls, the type that go in the Nerf Gun thingie, found in the toy section. The foam is pretty dense, not like a Nerf football, but pretty hard actually. I have used them at the carwash with the high pressure sprayer with no seepage into the ports. I popped them in with a rubber hammer.

Raquetballs should be about the right size too... you might have to put a small hole in to get them to stay put.
