    carb question

Recently bought a set of carbs from salvage yard for a 1982 Suzuki GS650L but now find it is for a 1981. #1 and 2 intakes match up, but #3 and 4 are about 1/2" off. Is it do-able or do I need to start over and find a correct set?

    Re: carb question

Since the carbs on both models are equally spaced, either the boots would all line up, or none would line up. I suspect that your model has boots with a slight angle cast into them and they will line up if you rotate the rubber boots/induction tubes.
