    PRINGEL FUEL TAP HELP

Does anyone out there in GS land know what the part numbers are I would need to put a pringel fuel tap on a 1982 GS 850GZ? I would like the one with off, on and reserve style. Also for the adapter plate and any other associated parts I would need.
    Thank you.

It's pingle not pringle.. Pingle fuel valve listed in Dennis kirk cat H18-203, doesn't say if it has reserve.
Adapter 18-1576 44mm between bolt holes, 18-1578 50mm between bolt holes

The valve should be 6211-AH and the adapters A1702C or A1902C. Call Sudco - they're familiar with which pingels fit the GS's.

Also, Pingel makes several different styles of fuel valves. The valve can be round or hex or smooth hex, etc. Any valve part # with "A" in it, means it's polished aluminum. If a "C", it's chromed. So "CR" means, chromed-round.
          "AH" means, aluminum-hex, etc.
You measure the distance (center to center) of the 2 holes for your petcock mounting bolts. Example: 44mm. This measurement determines what adapter plate you need.
You MAY have to increase (about 1/8" or so) the size of your petcock hole, using a file or ?
And on the seventh day, after resting from all that he had done,God went for a ride on his GS!
Upon seeing that it was good, he went out again on his ZX14! But just a little bit faster!
