... which the 650 shafties never got, IIRC. Sounds like someone put a different side cover on it. On the valve cover, are the chrome covers round or rectangular?Originally posted by nweaverTSCC is Twin Swirl combustion Chamber, AKA 16 valve engine...

hehe, I only know because my GS750L has it...not on the side covers though, but square cam covers. I wasn't sure what it was, so I used the might SEARCH feature when I joined

tdcc & chrome covers
[quote="Jeckler"]... which the 650 shafties never got, IIRC. Sounds like someone put a different side cover on it. On the valve cover, are the chrome covers gentlemen; this is the second time i went to my bike and checked. the side cover does say TDCC, RIGHT UNDER THE WORD SUZUKI. the engine is black and the valve cover chrome covers are round . yesterday a guy told me that they changed the engine color, and also the bar behind the seat from chrome to aluminum in 1983. does this sound right to you? this bike is probably an 83, and i thought it was an 82. but i wouldn't be rurprised if they swaped side covers. shawn w.Originally posted by nweaverTSCC is Twin Swirl combustion Chamber, AKA 16 valve engine...

TSCC is what it should be, never heard of TDCC, and the easiest way to identify it is the square covers. If you have round, it is not a TSCC. (I think  ) Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still a GS Noob
