    What do the switches do on early Katana sidepanel?

    What do them thar switches do anyway? Not connected to anything on my bike.... (82 Katana 1000)

      they're are for extra devices (lights, stereo, intercom etc) installed by the user. The instructions for use can be found in the factory manual, I guess.

          The extra switches are not used as standard, they are there for accessories.
