coil question

Will the coils from a 2000 Bandit 1200 work for an 81 gs650? I've seen where coils from the early/mid 90's gsx bikes will work. They appear similar to those. Any help is appreciated.

If it is a conventional type of coil it will work. Be carefull that you don't get the coil on plug ones

I'm running the coils from a mid 90's RF600 on my 82 GS1100E and the coils are identical to those on my 98 Bandit which is the same generation of Bandit as the 2000 so my assumption is that it will work just fine.
