Is it possible to lower the front fork?

yes, I did by swapping out the upper forktubes on my e model for t model tubes. they are the same diameter but 1 inch shorter. this also gives me 1 inch of spring preload with the stock springs. the other option is to slide the forks up in the triple clamps. I'm not sure how much you can go this way because your handle bars get in the way. remember though that your going to steepen your head angle unless you lower the back too.

what about the air ballancing connections???

I just left the original fork caps from the E. I just don't put air in.
