Large ends/small end crankshafts

Would like to know which years of GS1100s had a large end on the crankshaft and which year had the small ends (charging side)........Thanks

I believe 83 was the 1st year of the larger diameter crank (rotor) end

so a 81 or 82 would be a small end I guess!!

83 was the first year....it also was the first black engine. You can easily have a large one installed.
