1979 GS750L 2 valve, can I put on a 82 4 valve head?

I have a 79 750L that has several stripped exhaust lug holes in the head and searching through Ebay I found a 82 4 valve head in great shape with no cams. I am wondering if this would be a straight swap and using my old cams in the 4 valve head? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

you will need the cams from the 84 i believe to make everything work properly.

Will not work, totally different engine from top to bottom

Thanks, I'm glad I asked! I figured through mass production that the blocks would be the same with the only differences bieng top end.
